THEDEWSPERSPECTIVE.COM

TheDewsPerspective is a media platform created by Cornell Dews.  Almost 20 years ago, I had the idea of starting my own newsletter.  My intent was to capture and relay stories from a renewed perspective.  I also wanted to use my newsletter as a means to highlight community people I felt deserved recognition.  Now in 2025, my newsletter has morphed into www.thedewsperspective.com. An online source for everything from the perspective of Cornell Dews.

Holding true to the standard, you can visit my page and find interesting stories, covering all different types of content.  You’ll find editorial commentary about Hip Hop.  You’ll find personal stories about my life as an Urban Educator.  You can read about how I’ve dealt with the loss of my parents.  Both succumb to cancer complications.  And how my father’s substance abuse issues impacted my life.  I also tell the story of how one of my closest friends saved my life growing up in the inner city of Baltimore.  When people ask me if I watched The Wire, I just smile.

TheDewsPerspective  is my personal journal that I choose to share publicly.  It’s me documenting my life and time in my own words.  My narrative written by me.  And it’s done intentionally to make the reader laugh, cry, think, react.  My goal is to provoke a feeling from the reader.  Use my site as an educational tool.  I can help you better understand your purpose as an Educator.  And help you hone your skills.  I can make you forget your worries for a moment by sharing a funny story with you.  I can help young people navigate potholes of inner city living.  Or if you just want to read an in depth story about Hip Hop and its influence on the culture, visit http://www.thedewsperspective.com.

In all actuality, I’m just a dreamer.  One who personally believe ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.  Visit my site, read my writing, view my videos, comment, like, subscribe and engage.  Become a part of a community of dreamers.  And if nothing else, be encouraged by my efforts.  You know, we all have a perspective.  I just choose to share my publicly.  TheDewsPerspective by Cornell Dews
