The things your parents, grandparents and elders told you as a child were correct!

1. A hardhead makes for a soft behind.
2. Don’t burn bridges.
3. Humble yourself yourself.
4. Just keep on living.
5. Don’t leave a job until you have a new one.
6. Like who likes you.
7. Don’t let your mouth cause you to write a check your ass can’t cash.
8. When your ass hit the ground it’s gonna bust wide open.
9. That little piece of red flannel in your mouth is gonna get you into a world of trouble.
10. My favorite. My grandmother would always say to me “Man, you’re gonna be late to your own funeral.”😂

Whether or not I realized it then, or you realize it now. It’s truth and meaning to everything they said/say❤️
