His time has finally come. What will Shedeur do? This has to be one of the greatest fallacies in the history of sports. We’ve watched a young man go from Heisman hopeful to a “mercenary” draft pick. And we all know the reason why. But we must act as if we don’t.
I want to see Shedeur be successful in the NFL. Hell, I’m a Ravens fan. And I was rooting for his success last Sunday when he was subbed into the game versus my team. We all saw what happened. Then we spent the rest of the week listening to the expert’s pontificate on why he played so poorly. The image that’s most vivid to me is Shedeur after the game. Sitting alone on the sideline with his head down. From miles away in my living room, I whispered, “pick your head up son.”

I can only imagine the enormous pressure he feels to quiet the naysayers. I’m certain he wants to do everything within his power to prove his critics wrong. Although any mishap on his part only makes the negative chatter louder. Will he rely on his instincts? Can his God-given ability and years of preparation propel him to success as an NFL quarterback?

I want to see Shedeur be successful in the NFL. Not for him to brag or be arrogant. Nor to finger point and say “I told y’all…” But for GOD to be given the praise and glory. For people to be reminded that GOD is still in control. Regardless of what man tries to do to change your course in life, GOD already knows your trajectory. Because he planned it for you. No matter how tough your road to success may be, everything happens for a reason.
It’s your time Shedeur. What are you going to do?
