Hot Boy Turk seventh studio album aptly titled Joseph is a banger. It’s an impressive body of work. His beat selection was impeccable. His lyricism and proven ability to immerse himself in the music, sharing personal testimonies, is bar none. I applaud him for his focus and his perseverance. I salute him for his ability to silence the haters and naysayers. I believe this album will make a greater impact than he could’ve ever imagined.
My favorite song on the album is Joseph. That song feels like I’m in church and a person just stood up and testified. Sharing their personal story, trials and tribulations, that only GOD could bring them through. It’s a song of inspiration and encouragement. And it resembles the other 16 songs on the standout album. This album offers what most men are too afraid to share. This album offers a moment of transparency and vulnerability. Hot Boy Turk, Mr. Virgil, I commend you good brother. Thank you. Sincerely.
